On Monday 23rd June our class was going on a Stardome trip. The first we thing did was call out the roll then we went on the bus,it was a long drive to the destination.When we got there we lined up in our classes Room 1 lined  up in front of Mrs Necklace and Room 5 lined in front of Mrs S,Then we made our way in the place,we went there because we were learning about the solar system.We made two lines and after ten minutes of waiting we finally got to go inside and we met our tour  guide his name was josh and he took us to a room and we did questions and quiz then once we were done we went to the planetarium were we saw a movie about the solar system,we went inside of all kinds of planets like Earth,Mars,Juipter,Saturn and even the Sun.We got really comfortable seats,like we were in a movie theater we had to look up to watch the movie we went on the bus and went back to school.

Today I learnt how to do the  Matariki drawing for Matariki.

        An Aurora is colourful light in the sky at the north part or the south part.

The particles bump into gases in our atmosphere. When they bump into oxygen, it makes green and red light. When they bump into nitrogen, it makes blue and purple light. That’s how we see the beautiful colors of an aurora!

Mothers are very important people in our lives.

They help us grow,learn,and feel loved.

In this explanation I will share the reasons why mothers  are so special and the important roles they play in our families and in our community.

Mothers clean the house for you. They clean your bed when you go to school.

They wash your socks and clothes for you, they vacuum the house for you and they clean the kitchen, and they clean your bedroom.They cook for your family they cook Breakfast,Lunch,and Dinner.They also mop the floors.

Mothers buy the things that you need,

They buy you things for school they buy you wifi for you to play games and 

For you to watch youtube they pay for the light bills,water bills and they pay for electricity.Mothers make you feel happy when you’re sad they help you cheer up,she also  buys me ice-cream when i feel really sad.

So that’s why I think it is important to help our Mothers clean the house.

Blake VR

The Blake Vr show is about exploring the ocean and looking at different kinds of marine life.The man who started Blake his name was Sir Peter Blake he died 5th December 2001, we got to see how to protect the ocean from being polluted we got to learn how seaweed helps the fishes breath underwater we got to learn how to stop the kina from eating all the seaweed.We also learned how to only fish 7 snappers per-person we also learned how showering 4 minute will help the ocean.We learned when the pahotakawa blooms it means the kina are and ready to eat and to save all of our seaweed, I learnt how to keep the ocean clean and to stop the kina from eating all of the seaweed.

      Ned Show

Today Me and my class went to the multipurpose room because there was a Show called the Ned Show and our presenter was named sean.

The went to set up the multipurpose room and we sat down we waited for all the other class when they all came we waited for the show to start and when it started we quietly wait  for the show,when it started he was telling us how he rode a kangaroo from Australia to New zealand.

He  was talking about how to be resilient and how to bounce back and move forward and how Ned  was being chased by aliens that were trying to help him so he ran to rainbows end to the forest and he saw Mrs M and they recognized each other and when the aliens saw he couldn’t have time to react the aliens landed and they said that they were trying to help him.

When it was nearly the end of the show he taught the whole school how to do amazing yoyo tricks and the different kinds that was shown today so first he showed us the normal yoyo and how it’s fun to play with,then he showed us the DNA yoyo and he showed us how to use and it spins really fast,then he showed us the light up yoyos that change colour and the last yoyo that he showed us was the yoyo that came back up by itself.Then he showed us the trick to do the DNA then the show ended and we went back to class.
